What is a proof of concept, in this context?
A proof of concept is a small, working version of the thing, built against your real process and your real data, to establish whether the approach holds before anyone commits to a full build. It is not a demonstration and not a slide deck. The point is to find out early whether the idea survives contact with reality.
Is the proof of concept free?
No. We scope it with a defined outcome, timeline and cost, and you agree to those before work starts. We used to advertise free proofs of concept and stopped, because work given away tends to be scoped loosely and delivered without the attention a paid engagement gets. What is free is the assessment conversation that decides whether a proof of concept is worth doing at all.
What happens after I send this form?
We read it and reply, usually within two working days. If the case looks workable we propose a short call to go through the process in detail. If it does not, we tell you why rather than leaving the email unanswered.
How long does a proof of concept take?
Typically a few weeks, depending on how much integration is needed and on how ready the data is. We agree the timeline in the scope, and if it turns out to be wrong once we are inside the problem, we tell you at the point we find out rather than at the deadline.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, before you share anything you consider sensitive. Send us yours or ask for ours. Nothing you describe in this form is shared outside BigLearn regardless of whether an agreement is in place.
Why do you ask for a budget range?
So we can tell you quickly whether what you want is achievable within it. A range is not a commitment and we do not price up to it. If the number and the ambition do not match, saying so in the first email is more useful to you than three meetings that arrive at the same conclusion.
